Neil is working with us on a water utilities project pilot which will reduce the impact of repeated failures in the client’s waste water network.
How did you end up working with Reson8?
I’ve known and worked with Hugh on a number of projects stretching back over 15 years or so. We also have many mutual associates in our consulting network. I’ve worked with Alex and Dean over the past few years on different projects. As the opportunities with Reson8 grew, I was very keen to stay close to this and become part of their story.
So you’re the Supply Chain expert then?
Well I’ve certainly had a lot of great experiences in that field. My background is originally automotive manufacturing supply chains as well as procurement and lean process improvement. I’ve worked across a diverse range of industries since starting as a management consulting in the late 90s but have a particular strength in utilities and construction. I’ve been fortunate to have had some very interesting roles in truly transformational projects.
What do you like about working with the Reson8 team?
Probably the great collaboration and inclusivity of the team where everybody is listened to. Reson8 are clear on where they want to be and how this can help clients achieve positive outcomes and put this together in a way that is simple yet engaging.
What does a man like you do in his spare time?
You’ll wish you hadn’t asked that one! In my spare time I like to make electronic dance music (EDM). Originally the music production hobby started with making records for the kids, but as they grew up I started making music for myself instead! I also like to cook different types of Asian food.
What are you most excited about in the next year?
2020 was a bit of a strange year and meant quite a few changes to ways of working particularly being more remotely based. I think things will never be the same again but actually there are some real positive lessons to learn for a quality of work life balance and how a happy medium between using technology and face to face relationship building, so I’m excited to see how this will evolve.
